Promvie as an LTX Studio alternative
LTX Studio is a shot-first tool: you turn a prompt or script into storyboard frames and generate clips per shot, with fine control over each. Promvie is story-first: it writes the screenplay, keeps a consistent cast, storyboards every scene and renders whole scenes as continuous takes with dialogue and sound, then cuts the movie. Where the two differ
The unit of work is the difference. In a shot-first tool the atom is a clip of a few seconds, and the story lives in your head or your script. In Promvie the atom is a scene: one take of up to 30 seconds with the dialogue performed in it, continued in parts when the scene runs longer. That is why Promvie can run on autopilot from a sentence to an MP4, and why the cast stays consistent without manual reference wrangling.
Promvie also treats the models as interchangeable engines. The same movie can render on MiniMax H3 Max, Seedance 2.5 or Wan 3.0 Prime, and a part can be regenerated on a different model if a filter blocks it.

- Can I get shot-level control in Promvie?
- Yes, but it is optional. Each scene has a shot plan you can edit in plain language, storyboards you can regenerate, and a timeline where you split, trim and regenerate parts. The default path does not require any of it.
- What does it cost?
- Promvie is free to start with 900 credits and up to 2 movies a month. Video is billed per second of finished footage: 8 credits a second on MiniMax H3 Max ($0.08), 28 on Wan 3.0 Prime and 30 on Seedance 2.5.
