Text to movie
Text to movie means giving an AI a written story, a script or a single sentence and getting a finished film back. Promvie reads your text, structures it into scenes, keeps the characters consistent with reference portraits, renders every scene as video with sound, and assembles the movie. If you already have a script, it uses your scenes and dialogue as written.
Three ways to start from text
- One sentence: "A lighthouse keeper finds a message from her future self." Promvie writes the story and the script from it.
- A story or synopsis: paste a page of prose and Promvie turns it into a screenplay with scenes and dialogue.
- A finished script: paste it in and Promvie keeps your scenes, characters and lines, and moves straight to cast and storyboards.
What happens to your text
The script is the spine of everything that follows. Each scene's heading, action and dialogue drive the storyboard frames, the shot plan and the video prompt for that scene, so what you wrote is what gets filmed. Characters are detected from the script, given a description and a portrait, and that portrait is attached to every scene they appear in.
Dialogue is rendered as spoken lines in the video itself. Two characters can talk to each other in one take, and the assistant can rewrite a scene's lines if a performance is not landing.
Format and length
Choose 16:9 for YouTube and TV, 9:16 for TikTok and Reels, or 1:1 for feeds. Scenes render as takes of up to 30 seconds and longer scenes continue in parts, so the script length sets the movie length. The export is an MP4 you can download, share on a watch page or post to TikTok.

- Can I upload my own script?
- Yes. Paste it in the idea or script step. Promvie keeps your scenes and dialogue and generates the cast, storyboards and video from them. You can still edit any scene afterwards.
- Which languages work?
- The script can be written and performed in the language of your prompt; dialogue is rendered by the video model in that language. Results are strongest in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese and Korean.
- What does it cost?
