Seedance 2.5
Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's reference-to-video model and Promvie's highest-quality engine. It renders a scene as one continuous take of 4 to 30 seconds at 720p with dialogue and sound in the same pass, accepts up to 30 reference images so the whole cast can ride along, and costs 30 credits a second ($0.30). It is the video model in the High quality preset.
What it is good at
- Long single takes: a 30-second scene without a cut, with the performance and audio rendered together.
- Cast fidelity: every portrait goes in as a reference, so a five-character scene keeps all five on-model.
- Continuations: a scene longer than 30 seconds continues from the previous part's last frame and audio.
Things to know
- ByteDance applies a likeness filter to photoreal faces. Promvie detects a blocked take and retries with degraded references, then offers Wan 3.0 Prime, which has no such filter.
- Renders take a few minutes per 30-second take. For speed, the Fast preset uses MiniMax H3 Max.
- Cost example: a 20-second scene is 600 credits, about $6.00.
