Wan 3.0 Prime
Wan 3.0 Prime is Alibaba's reference-to-video model and the engine behind Promvie's Permissive preset. It always renders at 1080p, takes single passes of 2 to 30 seconds, continues longer scenes in parts of up to 15 seconds, and passes photoreal faces that ByteDance's likeness filter rejects. It costs 28 credits a second ($0.28).
What it is good at
- Photoreal casts: it accepted portraits that Seedance blocked, which is why Promvie offers it as the retry when a take is blocked.
- 1080p at every length, with native audio.
- Camera language: it responds well to explicit moves in the shot plan.
Things to know
- Continuation parts are capped at 15 seconds because the model's reference-video budget is shared with the output.
- Cost example: a 30-second single take is 840 credits, about $8.40.
Questions
- When does Promvie switch a scene to Wan 3.0 Prime?
- When the Permissive preset is on, when you pick it per stage, or when a Seedance take is blocked by the likeness filter and you accept the retry chip.
- Is it better than Seedance 2.5?
- Different. Seedance 2.5 is the highest-quality take in Promvie; Wan 3.0 Prime trades a little fidelity for 1080p and permissive checks.
