Promvie makes story videos for faceless YouTube channels: horror and mystery stories, history retold as drama, fables and moral tales, or a recurring animated show. You give it an idea or your own script, and Promvie writes the screenplay with a narrator or with characters who speak, keeps the cast consistent, renders every scene with sound and uploads the finished video to your channel. Nobody appears on camera, and the result is a generated film with a cast rather than stock footage under a voiceover.
YouTube's monetization rules target mass-produced, repetitive videos that look made from a template, not the use of AI as such. Promvie is not a template machine: every video starts from a new script, every scene is generated for that story, and you can change any line or shot. The channel still needs your ideas and your editing judgment, and whether a channel joins the YouTube Partner Program is YouTube's decision.
Commercial use, including a monetized channel, needs Director's Choice, which also removes the Promvie watermark from exports, so channels run on the plan.
Video is billed per second of finished footage, 12 credits a second on the Fast preset. A one-minute Short starts around 720 credits, about $12 at pack prices. Long videos add up: ten minutes of fully generated scenes is about 7,200 credits, roughly $115 without the plan. That is why most channels use Promvie for Shorts, for a weekly short-form series, or for the dramatized scenes inside a longer video.
Director's Choice is $29 a month with 2,000 credits, about 2 minutes of Fast video, plus member pricing on extra packs.
